Goal Specific Personal Training Types

Total Shape Up: Long Beach Level 9 members have shaped up from head to toe with Jed Miller’s 1-on-1 personal training and group fitness boot camp sessions. A big part of a total shape up is strength building. There are plenty of benefits to strength training. All of the Level 9 programs are designed to transform your body into its best condition. This is done through functional training featuring mixed method muscle confusion.  Jed has designed thousands or programs over the years and his one of a kind system has never failed when followed correctly.


Weight Loss: At Level 9 Fitness you will be trained in a way that promotes 24/7 fat loss by speeding up your metabolism through a very carefully designed mix of training styles. Your program will include resistance training and cardio, as well as periodic ‘slow-focus’ training which will help you form a stronger mind-body connection similar to the effects of a good yoga program. Jed is also a Certified Yoga Instructor. On a weight loss plan you’ll most definitely be expected to follow a sensible meal plan for maximum benefits of your program.

Toning & Tightening: Jed is probably best known for getting people into better shape than they’ve ever been in before…in their entire life. If you think you’re in great shape but you just have those pesky problem areas to deal with, the ones you’ve never quite been able to fix, Jed has your training solution.


Balance & Flexibility: The L9 system will bring your body to a higher level of fitness overall. Many programs build muscle. Some also burn fat but most programs and personal trainers don’t challenge your body in a way that will help it function better. This includes balance, flexibility, metal focus and much more.  If you make an investment in yourself and your body make sure your program covers all areas of redesigning your body.


Specialized Sport & Event Training: For a specialized program that will be completely personalized for special goals like sport specific training, marathon preparation or a specific event or contest you need to have a meeting with the best personal trainer for your goals and look at program options. Or you can take your chances at your local gym.


Maintenance Training: For those clients who have already hit their primary fitness goals maintenance is required to hang on to what you’ve earned, the beautiful body you’ve build needs to be challenged regularly to make sure your results don’t slip away.
