Jump Rope Workouts

Doing awesome jump rope workouts is all about going hard core and getting it over with super quick. It’s a total body workout too, not just cardio. There’s some rest but you’ll never return to a resting heart rate, just like Level 9 HIIT Long Beach CA programs.

EQUIPMENT: 1 Jump Rope. If you don’t have one go buy a cheap one for under $5 to get started. You can always upgrade later as you get more confident and graduate to tougher jump rope workouts.

WARMUP
1 minute jog in place, 5/10 pace, 1 minute line hop

JUMP ROPE WORKOUT

1 minute basic 2 legs jump rope (2 hop)
30 seconds 1 leg jump rope
SWITCH to other leg
30 seconds 1 leg jump rope
30 seconds jump rope (1 hop)
30 seconds jump rope double pace (1 hop)

REST & RECOVERY
Beginner: 2 CYCLES / 3 minutes rest, stretch, hydrate
Regular Exerciser: 3 CYCLES / 2 minutes rest, stretch, hydrate
Badass: 5 CYCLES / 1 minute rest, stretch, hydrate
