L9 LONG BEACH BOOT CAMP COMMON QUESTIONS:

Do I have to sign a contract?
NOPE. This is a Month to Month program, if there’s a monthly offer at a lower rate at any time you can easily switch plans. This isn’t the gym where you’re locked in.

How long are the boot camp sessions?
Each sessions is 30 minutes, with a mix of HIIT training, aerobic and anaerobic exercises.

What’s the cost? See prices above and try to get in on the Early Bird Special.

What exactly is HIIT? Is it too hardcore for me?
High Intensity Interval Training is HIIT. Assuming you’re cleared by your medical professional, HIIT is the very best way for you to get fit or improve your current fitness level quickly. For 30 minutes your heart rate wil go up and down like a roller coaster. This promotes a calorie burn but more importantly it will crank up your metabolism for days.

If I’m out of my workout routine and not in good shape will I make it through these workouts?
Yes you can survive and thrive. The workouts are designed for all fitness levels and there are modification options along the way. Just give 100% effort and you’ll do well.

Should I weigh myself before and/or after each workout?
No, that’s a bad idea. You’ll be changing habits and working hard. Results will happen. Don’t obsess about the scale. The scale shouldn’t be your measuring stick of how well you’re doing. Just keep showing up and keep doing your best. Everything else will fall into place. We can look at nutrition if you have specific concerns.

  1. Jed is the best PT I know. I do semi-private training in addition to 1-on-1 personal training and it is super fun, personalized and dynamic.   2. I have been coming to Jed’s boot camp for 2 1/2 weeks now. I love it! I’ve seen instance results, I have lost 3 pounds thus far. As someone who’s getting back into fitness, Jed offers a lot of work out modifications making the class accessible to all fitness levels. What I love most about the classes is the fun quick workouts as well as the other class participants. Everyone in the class including Jed have been supportive, positive and overall fun to be around.   4. I joined Jed’s Level 9 Personal Training back in July of this year. And I have to say the results have been off the charts for me as far as Jed’s one on one personal training. I’m seeing results I haven’t seen when I used to train with regular gymn trainers. It’s been very rewarding! I also enjoy the boot camps which for me is a good way to “shake things up” from my one on one’s with Jed. I get to experience the comraderie between other classmates and feed off of their energy. It helps to push me past the RED ZONE! It’s a fun class to take when you just need a change in your workouts. As a group, Jed helps us to take it to a whole nother level…and I love that!

  6. I did not expect to love one on one training as much as I did, but now I’m hooked! In addition, I’ve also done a group sand challenge and ab challenge as well and had a blast! I brought my sister and it was nice to be able to recommend my friends and family to do something fun and healthy with me! I highly recommend Jed and level 9 fitness if you want to be challenged in a fun way 🙂

  9. I absolutely love this boot camp…it pushes me to the limit but allows me to modify certain exercises so I don’t injure myself. It’s great to get outdoors and get an awesome work out. This program is what I need to keep a continuous exercise regimen because I’m committed to attending each week and can’t make excuses! Jed keeps each work out unique and different which targets the entire body. I’m starting to notice much more strength even when doing yoga…I can do more than ever before!

  10. I can’t say enough great things about Jed’s training and the quick results I receive from his program!!

    I have jumped between different workout routines and back to Level 9 and as soon as I go back to Level 9, almost immediately my friends and I see noticeably cut results across my entire body! He is very motivating without being intimidating, continuously changes his workout routines to keep it interesting and fun, and gives good recommendations on healthy eating.

    After a long work day, it’s a wonderful feeling to have an invigorating workout with a genuinely likeable results driven coach and fun and encouraging team.

  12. Definitely join this boot camp! I look forward to coming here twice a week as I always leave feeling stronger and more fit than before. I have noticed a change in my body since starting this camp and my friends have been asking me what I’ve been doing 🙂

    Jed is great because he gives you lots of modifications for everything that we do. So, all levels can totally take advantage of the workout. Also, he has a great personality and makes the workouts fun. He’s tough but very encouraging and everyone has a lot of fun during camp.

    The setting of this camp is perfect. Right by the ocean! I’ve enjoyed watching the sun set towards the end of our sessions.

  13. The BEST and most THOROUGH workout I’ve ever experienced! The L9 boot camp atmosphere is amazing! Boot camp fitness had never appealed to me in the past, I was always more of a yoga mellow type. But luckily for me, a client of mine is a client of Jed’s, and the results I saw her achieve with Jed’s guidance amazed me! So I got curious, and was lucky to get in. I was totally blown away from day one! Yes, its a challenging work out, but not impossible. I always pictured a drill sergeant type with a whistle screaming at me while i try and crank out one more sit-up (scary!), SO NOT THE CASE HERE! Jed is MOTIVATIONAL, He encourages you to push your boundaries, to work to your highest potential! It’s kinda up to you how hard your 1 hour boot camp session is.. If you follow his instruction and do your best the results are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m seeing my body look like it did in my early 20’s… its only been 4 or 5 weeks! If those aren’t quick results, I don’t know what is! My booty is higher and firmer, the back of my thighs are flattening.. My belly has *GASP* definition! I didn’t think I’d ever see those muscles again! haha. If your ready to look smokin’ hot on the beach this summer, and feel good about yourself an be encouraged by others with the same goals and challenges as you Level 9 Boot camp is the place for you too..

  14. Jed is a fantastic trainer who creates a boot camp class that is fun and challenging!! I started months ago as couch potato who couldn’t finish the warm-up lap. Now I look forward to each workout and I’m doing things I never thought I could do!

  15. LOVE Jed’s boot camp at Bluff Park! Everyone in the class is super nice, I am brand new to the class but even got encouragement when I felt like I couldn’t finish but I did! Jed is very motivating and encouraging. HIGHLY recommend this class for an intense and all around great workout.
