Using Protein Supplements Combined with Working Out

Protein Supplements - You Need More Protein

People ask me about protein supplements all the time.  The fact is we all need protein (in one form or another) in our daily nutritional intake.  If you’re exercising you need it even more!  Your muscles need protein in order to repair and grow.  Daily doses of protein are imperative if you’re looking to improve your health and physique, but not all of us have the means or desire to chomp chicken breasts four times per day.  If you attend any of my Long Beach CA Boot Camps you already know protein is a big deal!

Protein Supplements Are a MUST

Protein powder supplements fill the void left by our inability to consume and digest large amounts of protein from meats and beans.  My top picks are MyoFusion by Gaspari Nutrition which contains probiotics, Syntha 6 by BSN and for the lowest carb/calorie blend I prefer Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard.

I didn’t link to either protein shake supplement because I don’t know where you shop. I’d suggest Protein on Amazon for a big selection and the lowest prices…usually.

Protein bars are alright if you’re in a jam and don’t have your whey protein shakes with you but bars tend to contain fillers and some have preservatives that your body just doesn’t recognize as food value.  Stick to shakes whenever possible.

Any of the three products mentioned above will help your body build quality lean muscle and speed up workout recovery.
